The Rom has recently been released for the MAME emulator. Works fine on a fast system (at least a Pentium 3). Not recommended for low end systems.

After leaving the group twice, Zeeshan Razzaq (Shani) is back in the RKZ. After a long discussion Shani decided to rejoin the RKZ. After leaving RKZ for the second time Shani joined The Vampires but due to undisclosed reasons Shani left it and came back to his original group.

Abdullah Butt becomes the new group leader of RKZ after Ahmed Butt announced that he can no longer give enough time to KOF. So Abdullah was chosen by all as the new leader.

 The First RKz Player Of The Month

The first Player Of The Month was played this Sunday (29th Feb) at Zaman Game Center. 14 players participated in it and only a few were able to make remarkable beats except Abdullah who made the biggest beat of 14 (2+12) and was rewarded POTM. So this way RKz stood victorious proving that times have changed. Faisal (Molvi) who was RKz KOF 2002 Winner was the runner up in POTM making a total beat of 6.

Finally the KOF Series is shifting itself from MVS to Sammy's Atomiswave hardware. KOF 2004, KOF Neowave, Metal Slug 6, Samurai Shodown and other unannounced titles will now be released on Atomiswave.

KOF Neowave which will be a dream match like KOF 98, is expected to be the first KOF release on Atomiswave.

So throw away your emulators and upgrade your systems for the next KOF.

 

 
 
 

 KOF 10th Anniversary Memmorial Box Set

Die-hard fans of the King of Fighters series may be interested in a special CD compilation on its way out in Japan next month. The King of Fighters Neo Geo's Soundtrack 10th Anniversary Memorial Box, to be published by the Dex Entertainment record label, is a nine-CD set of all the soundtracks from almost 10 years of the series, plus numerous extras and assorted fun stuff.
The nine soundtrack albums cover nine installments of the series, from 1994 through 2002. They're packaged in a special box along with an extra DVD, featuring the opening movies from each game and documentary content from the editors of Japanese arcade magazine Arcadia, plus a special poster with artwork on one side and a release history of each game on the other.

 KOF: Maximum Impact Teaser

SNK Playmore has opened a to a new PlayStation 2 game, titled King of Fighters: Maximum Impact. Only a single page with the logo has been unveiled, and no details on the game have been announced. KOF: Maximum Impact is the likely the same King of Fighters title that was at the 2003 Tokyo Game Show, where a short trailer featuring 3D rendered characters was shown.
