The KOF MI teaser site has finally revealed some detailed screenshots, character profiles and story.

  • First ever 3D KOF title, developed specifically for the PlayStation 2. SNK NeoGeo USA has  announced that it will publish King of Fighters: Maximum Impact in North America this fall
     

  • Five exciting modes of play featuring Story Mode, VS Battle, Survival, Practice and Training
     

  • A total of 24 incredible SNK characters featuring 14 returning favorites mixed with 6 all new to the franchise and 4 hidden bonus characters
     

  • Enhanced character movement including the all new sideways feature and 4 different jump moves
     

  • Spectacular combo moves specific to each character to inflict massive damage Attack your opponent and send them airborne with the new Knock Back Attach feature

  • KOF: MAXIMUM IMPACT will feature the most popular KOF characters such as Terry Bogard and Kyo Kusanagi all rendered in 3D. The game will also feature

 KOF Neowave Screenshots

New screenshots taken at the KOF Neowave beta tests. The official site is up with a very little information to give away. Here's the link:

The title will be SNK Playmore's first release on the Atomiswave platform, which the company will use for all its future arcade releases. Atomiswave is Sammy's low-cost, cartridge-based JAMMA-compatible system (JAMMA is an arcade standard in Japan) that runs on the same CPU as Sega's Dreamcast and Naomi systems. The Atomiswave is currently in use in America and Japan, but Sammy is planning to bring the machine to other regions, especially
countries where the NeoGeo is currently popular.
